Even as a stu­dent, I was inter­est­ed in design and how codes affect us humans. Back then, I would never have thought about how brands can be trans­lat­ed from a strat­e­gy and how method­i­cal, but also cre­ative, this can be.

For some, a label may just be a label, but we know that a label can gen­er­ate mil­lions of dol­lars in sales for our cus­tomers. Design must there­fore always be based on method­i­cal intel­li­gence, with taste taking a back seat. That’s why it’s always nice when we can talk to cus­tomers about the translation of strat­e­gy rather than taste during the process.

This is not only fun for every­one involved, but also takes the dis­dain for my per­for­mance out of brand devel­op­ment.
